Hi, dear Hadar.
About the dark L, I faced “the problem” some time ago, while visiting a Caribbean beach, where I met an American guy. I thought I was doing pretty well in practicing my English with him, until he asked me the super casual question: “Where are you from?” “Brazil – I said. “Brazio?!” – he seemed surprised, and I didn’t understand why. “Haven this guy never heard about my country?” – I thought. Then he explained the right American pronunciation of the dark L.
